Sending us a camera?

Here are some packing tips to insure your camera will get here in one piece.  First make sure you have a big enough box.  The box should be big enough to allow for 3” around all sides of the camera.  It should be sturdy enough for shipping.  Shoe boxes, for instance, are generally not tough enough.  Put your camera in a plastic bag and tape it or band it closed. You can use commercial packing material or crushed newspapers.  The idea is keep the camera suspended in the center of the box for its journey.  Tape the box shut with packing tape.  Be sure to tape all seams.  Label it and send it along.  Your shipper can help you with insurance if you want it.
